Thanks for posting this link Sid...Gary's tone combined with the Telonics is superb. He really put's that Zum through its paces and it's truly inspiring to watch and listen to him. Enjoyed both Jason's and Marty's playing as well...great job by all! Thanks again Sid and to you Gary for a beautiful Pedal Steel song...Carl

Gary and I played the Opry every Friday and Saturday night for a couple of years with a group called "The 4 Guys".

I have always admired his abilities.

You will never meet a finer person.

Seems like he broke through the barrier of NOT sounding or trying to sound like someone else,
All the greats did it ,

Just great playing and taste,

I know that he is working his guitar hard but did you guys notice that his guitar is moving a lot. seems like the legs are loose or something

Didn't, seem to effect his playing tho

If there is still any steeler left on this earth that does not have his CD, find them, shoot them. Just kidding everyone should have this, it is 100% pure joy to listen to.

That's it, I'm turning myself in , Zumbody shoot me. 😀

I find Gary's playing to be absolutely blistering precise in ways that I find words hard to explain. His intonation is absolutely perfect and his playing is so good it's almost very machinelike.

I love to watch his right hand and how clean it is and I can appreciate such smoothness, and he makes it looks all so easy. Well done Sir!

It’s his little bursts of blazing speed that gets me... incredibly fast!!!

3.28-3.30 confuses me. Those notes aren't on my guitar... :\
I know my playing is a bit pitchy, but at least my tone sucks

Peter if you’re confused on only those 2 seconds, you’re way ahead of the game... I might have to come to Finland so you can clear my confusion on the rest of the song

There are so many moves and pedal changes and positions and open 10th string notes it would take us all years to do even if we had the tab.

Great mind and great execution. This whole CD just blows me away.
