1983 Sierra Universal 12..SOLD donation on the way

Post by Dan Campbell »

Sierra U-12 in great shape up for sale. 8 pedals and 5 knee levers, new non-reflection fretboard, and real wood inlay professionally installed. Given the date it was made it may have been built by steel maestro, Bill Stafford when he worked at Sierra Instruments. It also has one of the most sought after pickup ever--the excellent and coveted Dan Shields pickup.

Sierra

Looks like a really nice guitar. I'm getting cold feet. I usully play 10 string 4x4 . I think it would be too much guitar for me. Don't know what I would do with all the extra pedals & lever, anyway good luck on the sale. Someone will get a great guitar. Harold

interested in a trade for 1974 push pull fatback Emmons 7/5? I would need a couple of grand on top of the trade or close to do this, this beautiful dark brown laquer, extended vertical lever, case is perfect no dings, comes with a set pin Emmons volume pedal and a very nice cover. Mike Cass may have the parts for the second neck if interested. I started on a push pull for 20 years and switched to a all pull u12 and have got use to them. I'm going to post this as soon as I figure out how and add pictures but if you'd like pictures give me your email and I'll send them. not a very good push pull mechanic but I'll learn as I'm not just going to give it away. Day/ Newman setup. Marty Letz
