Pop Goes The Country

Post by Henry Matthews »

Does any one know who the steel player was on an old Pop Goes The Country? On this episode, Tom T Hall was the emcee and guest were Dottsy and Bill Anderson. Steel player was playing a D-10 wood neck Emmons exactly like one I have now so just wandering. Could be same guitar. Thanks

I was thinking it might be Wimpy, as he was the staff guy.

His technique looked a lot like Wimpy. Never showed his face.
