Post by Jeff MacDonald »

Do they make Lap Steel Gig bags with leg pockets. No luck so far searching the internet:

this is a Fender White Steel a acquired recently. I stripped the turquoise paint job and had it custom painted.

Nice job on the refinishing. The White looks wonderful!

I have a circa '59-'60 Fender Studio Deluxe, which is very similar to a White. I purchased a D2F Leg Bag (Style B) for 3 legs:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/D2F-Leg-Bag-Sty ... 339f3b7ae7

And an Uncle Mike's 52121 33" Tactical Rifle Case:

For a total cost of under fifty bucks.

I place the legs in the leg bag, insert the leg bag and the Studio Deluxe into the rifle case, and viola! Works pretty slick.

I use one of Mark Roeder's leg bags, well made and durable. I carry my steel in a separate gig bag.

THIS RIFLE CASE might have potential.
I have a similar case. Width is approx. 9" at widest.
