Sho-Bud Shop in London

I wasn't aware of the Sho-Bud Shop in London until this year when I bought a NOS Goodrich, unused from c. 1983 from Ron Mawn. He said that it was from the left over stock of the Sho-Bud Shop he used to work in.
I did take a train in the late 70's from London to Maidstone ( I think ) where the ZB Shop was. I thought that was the only psg shop in the UK....
Any recollections, and/or photos of the Denmark Street shop?

The shop in Maidstone would have been ESE Music, owned by Steel Player Eric Snowball.

Also don't forget there was Jerry Hogan's shop near Reading, although nowadays they have moved just about all the steel guitar stuff out of the shop and continue that side of the business primarily online.

Not for sure but early day Sho-Bud's had a cabinet that looked like that. All I know is that I have seen Sh0-Bud's with that wrap around wood cabinet ends. J.R.

I didn't know they built pedal steels. This picture I found on their website. The logo is smaller and on the opposite side, but they sure look similar.

Pete Willsher...
I haven't heard him play but he was a big influence through an article in the British Guitarist magazine. An extensive article on pedal steel in general, the instrument that Pete himself built and Pete's history. Maybe 1973?
I was daydreaming of getting a pedal steel and info was hard to find.
I read that story a million times and finally couldn't take it anymore and got myself a steel from Sweden, an AWH....
So, thanks Pete!
Does anybody know anything about him nowadays?

I know Pete. He doesn't play steel so much (if any) these days. Back in the 70's he was incredibly busy doing sessions and gigs. He had a solo steel album under his own name, and did another album with fellow guitarist and steel player Martin Jenner.
