$1,699.00 plus tax (so about $1,870 total) at local GC. Looks to be all orig except 3 prong cord (and sounds like it had filter caps done bc it sounds very strong/healthy) although the power tranny does not have the 606 Schumacher markings, only a black ink marking.
My friend thought it may be a leftover tweed era Triad power transformer - but I remember on my Tweed Deluxe power tranny you could read the brand name. On this one no brand name visible other than "Fender" engraved on the lower edge and the code in black ink that I had trouble reading. It looks orig to the amp and all of the trannys and chassis look super clean, as do the four Fender marked hot dog basket Oxfords. Let's say for argument sake that the power tranny was replaced but output and choke are orig.
Sounds great, w the amazing harmonic vibrato circuit unique to brown Concert, Pro, Super, etc. Open and swampy and the vibrato channel, dense and rich on the normal and cleans up beautifully w vol knob when set to nearly Albert Collins level break up.
Overall very nice cond w two small tears in the grillcloth and some corner wear on the tolex.
God knows I shouldn't spend the bread but my friend is buying my '56 Gibson GA90 for $1k and I can prob sell off a few other things to minimize the out of pocket expense.
For six string and lap, not PSG.
Whatcha think?

An excellent condition one is selling for about $2500 now, so $1800 is a fair price for one with a couple of minor issues. It's not a steal IMO, but a decent price. If you really like the amp, and it sounds like you do, go for it!

Yeah, the vibrato in those amps is very strong. I worked with a guitarist who played one and when he used a slow vibrato it sounded like the whole amp was moving! A great sound.

yep!! i did a show last year with it for two months here at a theater in atlanta. its a great sounding amp especially with a fender style guitar because of the low end it has. i need to swap some preamp tubes in it. got one thats noisey. i have hundreds of preamp pulls from when i used to repair fender amps. since i got that amp from you, i have come across a victoria tweed bassmand and a fender reissue bassman that someone went in and tore out the printed circuit board and installed a point to point wiring board.

i used to work with a guy who played the concert amp like you are looking at. plenty loud and sounded great.
