1995 Lacquer Emmons LeGrande 11 SD-10

Post by Johnny Howington »

Completely re-done in excellent condition. I have owned this guitar for 2 years and gonna hate I sold it I'm sure. I just hate to own a guitar and it stay under the bed in a case. It also comes with a new case with wheels for easier carrying around. Case only used 5 or 6 times in excellent condition. I'm asking exactly what I have in the guitar. Price is $3850.00 plus shipping ! I bought the guitar with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers and I bought up lever kit for it, rods for 2nd and 9th string and had it professionally installed. Guitar has brand new live steel strings on it as well. Would like not to ship this guitar unless I have to. Set-up is regular Emmons. Also have as new seat to match if interested! More pictures by email if interested in buying! First one to get money in my hand will be lucky new owner! Contact me by PM or by email. I will go in order of received. I will check after 6:00 pm and from 9:15 am till 10:50 am

I can't remember his name right now but he sent me a picture of the guitar right after he painted it while it was still on the paint table. I will see If I can find his name. IT came from Nashville Tennessee. It is a very nice guitar.

Emmons

Post by Allen Howington »

Wow, I can't believe my brother is actually selling this guitar. Folks, this is as close to new condition as "like-new" has ever been. I can't find a scratch on this guitar, and I think that must be the only reason he is selling it, he don't want to ever see a scratch on it. This is one good sounding steel guitar, I have played it, it's awesome, both sound wise and cosmetically. I stand behind this guitar and I don't have a penny in it. Not to mention my brother is the most honest and good man on this earth, he would never do anyone wrong. Just take another look at this guitar and if you are looking a perfect guitar, this is it. Now, why don't I buy it, well I have a practice room full with three Emmons D-10's right now, but I would in a second if I had the room for it (and the money). Buy this guitar, you will be happy you did for the rest of your life.

Allen & Johnny both take better care of their equipment than anyone i have ever met - they won't even play with shoes on for fear of scuffing up the pedals. great guys and you won't find a better used seller than these two.

Thanks for the awesome comments brother and friends. I have dealt on this forum for 8 years and have met a lot of great people and equipment. Update on guitar is I am working on several trade deals but nothing set in stone at this point! I really wanted to sell straight out but it looks like it will sell faster if I can work out a trade plus cash! Very close to a deal but there is still time if interested!!

Post by Johnny Howington »

Taking a few offers pretty serious at this point but nothing set in stone. A cash sale would be a lot better for me if someone wants a great guitar! I just bought another Emmons LeGrande SKH so I need to sale one if possible. Thanks for all the emails and trade offers so far and thanks for looking!! Nothing is wrong with this guitar I just have too many! Thinning the herd as some would say!

Thanks Nick! That is a great looking guitar you have. Mine is gonna sell one day! The right one has not seen it yet or is trying to decide if they really want it ! Most people want to trade something even. Can't do that. Thanks for looking ! I have seen some nice steel guitars the past couple weeks!!
