C6 scales with out Pedals

Post by Sonny Miller »

Bill Thompson in Colorado emailed today and asked me for some scales for the E9 or C6 using no pedals. He is working on C6 now and I told him I would put his question on the forum. Any help that would simplify his immediate problem?
I also suggested he join the Forum if he has not done so already. Then he could read your helpful answers.

Maybe someone will post a few two string harmonized scales on C6.

Look for the C6 modal theory thread in No Pedalers.
It's ALL there.
[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 31 May 2004 at 03:50 PM.]

The best way to learn the scales in your tuning is to make a chart yourself. The act of doing it really drives the knowledge home. It's a lot harder to learn from looking at someone else's fretboard chart.

You can also go to www.buddyemmons.com and use the first solo part of the "Blues to Use" - it's great for the C6th.
