Here is a rare occurrence. We made Mickey Adams take that trademark baseball cap off for this shot. He can't quite let it go out of his hand.

My highlight memory of the show was Buck Reid's seminar. As usual, it was full of interesting licks, fills, technical advice and that tone from his Infinity through his Peavey 112 amp with the Telonics speaker installed. Awesome sound, and 2 superb sets on Friday and Saturday nights. Buck had an exceptional weekend.

a very interesting and telling picture of jay dee.
i love that guy!
why would someone with a new super infinity steel be playing an old clunky push pull?
because that's what he feels like. so cool.
evidently nothing quite sounds and feels like the old axe.

The party that I was with felt that JD had the best tone of the Emmons players over the weekend, but that Buck Reid's tone was the best of everyone's. I have to admit that I have never heard him sound better.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jim Harrison's photo's of the players. He always does a great job.

Post by steve takacs »

I never get to the steel guitar shows but would like to match the names with those Forum members.

Would you guys who took photos list the name of those in the photos, please

The only ones I think I know are Mickey in photo 2, the second from the left; in photo 3 JD and Jim Smith. In photo 5 is David Wright on the left?

Thanks very much, steve t
