Has anyone tried this unit with steel guitar. Apparently it learns the tune and then it will play bass and drums automatically. Wonder if it works with steel guitar. NM |

...based on the demos I saw I don't see why not. They just chorded the song in pretty much the tempo they wanted, and then away it went. Might be interesting to try out and see how it works. I have an open mind on it anyway.
My 2 cents, YMMV. |

I have been looking at them and I see no reason why it shouldn't.
All you have to do is play the chords and set the rhythm and it will play along with you.
They were introduced at NAMM 2015 and I haven't found any available yet around here to demo.
The only place I have seen them is at Musician's Friend and they aren't available until late next month.
It looks like it would be fun especially for someone like me who has no one to play with. _________________ I have stuff.

Nigel, just because you think you're old don't mean you are. Go get you one of those things and pick away. You'll have a grand ole time!
...and let me know how much fun you're having so I can go get one....lol... |

there is a "jack" out for a recorder .... so adding bass & drum lines is a go ..... plus you can turn the volume up on bass & drums too {just like in real life} _________________ EQUIPMENT:

As an added note, Musician's Friend just moved the availability date for the Trio to the end of May.
My local music store also said they are at least 2 to 3 months out in getting any.
I put one on hold at the store. I think they are going to be hard to find for a while. _________________ I have stuff.
