Thanks, Basil,
Thanks Basil, shipping Priority to the UK is another $ 20.00, so for $69.95, you will receive two 7/8" x 3 3/8" bars....just let me know color preference for the second bar. It seems they do not hold them in customs for long - good to hear from you! -Michael

7/8 x3 bars
Hi Michael:
got mine today. I used the 7/8 by 3 and they are perfect also. I can grip easily, not too heavy, they are so nice, smooth and quiet. Bar hopping and single note rifs are no problem whatsoever. It even seems easier to do reverse slants.
Thanks once again, your powder coated bars work the best for me of all the bars I've ever tried.
Once my bar gets nice and warm, it seems to stay warm longer, probably just my imagination. I just wonder if the powder coating acts as an insulation too????
Anyway thank you for a high quality product at a very low Valentine special price.

Thanks, Dick, good to hear from you,
Thanks Dick, great to hear from you - and I'm pleased that all those sizes you've tried are working well, and- I really appreciate you taking the time to post a detailed report. It's been great running the February sale, have had opportunity to get better acquainted with a lot of Forum members, and we appreciate everyone's interest, input and support. Keep in touch, - Michael

That's the punch line to a cowboy poem
Not to worry Basil, Lyle and I were discussing sending a check to me since he doesn't do PayPal. Which caused me to recite to him a cowboy poem written by Bob Chrisensen, entitled "The Explores From The East ". This is a poem in which an Englishman, a Frenchman and a Czech hire a mountain guide to take them on a trek near Yellowstone Park. Despite the guide's warning of "don't go near the bears", as soon as they see a pair of grizzlies, they attempt to hang an I.D. Tag around the female's neck and of course are killed and eaten by the bears. The guide and the Englishman shoot the bears, then dig two holes, and, wanting to mark the graves, open up those grizzly bears and "now we can end this tale....you really won't believe it Basil....but the Czech was in the male!". Out west, we recite this stuff around the campfires to entertain one another.

Thanks to a bunch of Forum members, great sale!!
Our sincere thanks to everyone who took advantage of our two-fer sale through February and into March 5th. We've pretty well depleted our stock of 7/8" x 3 3/8" bars, but just ordered the steel to proceed with new batches in this size. Also, we've located 15/16" stock, which is a bit more expensive than 7/8", and slightly more expensive to powder coat, but we are moving forward with a gloss black bar in 15/16" near the end of March, these first bars will be around $57.00.
We had hoped to get numbers of powder coated bars into the hands of players through our two-fer sale, and we certainly accomplished that goal. But an unintended consequence was getting better acquainted with a good many of our Forum brethren here.... I don't know of a finer group of individuals to deal with anywhere than those who buy, sell, opine, share the love of music, and of fine musical instruments on this Forum. We presently plan to do another two-fer sale in August, as we mark the one year anniversary of our powder coated bar project.
Meanwhile, as we restock, we welcome comments and suggestions as always, in color, sizes, or anything else Forum members would want to share. March pricing on the remainder of our 7/8" x 3 3/8" bars is $44.95; and all lap steel bars are $39.95. PayPal preferred, or check or money order is fine, vmhillman66@gmail.com or, if you want to talk bars or music, (208) 867-5062 - Michael

Hi Lyle, I'm glad you like the bars. My friend Paul "Pete Tracy"
and I jammed for 7 hours today and we really love these bars.
We both agree these are the best bars we've ever played with.

we are close to 15/16" x 3 3/8" in gloss black and gloss red
I indicated I'd keep everyone advised on the progress of these larger bars--I've received the bars from the machinist, and they are in line at the powder coating facility. Will post photos when the first batch is available...should have gloss black and gloss red available at the same time, in 2 weeks to 10 days... Thanks all for the interest in this size bar! Michael

Hello, Dennis, we'll have dark blue soon, in the 15/16"
Hello, Dennis, we'll have dark blue fairly soon in the 15/16" bars, the larger delay was getting that size bar stock at a reasonable price....I'll keep updates on this thread as we progress.....Best, Michael
