The orange D# is kind an an ooops. Prokofiev would have liked it but Tommy cut it short.

David Byrne called such things 'moments of uncertainty.'

If Mr. White hadn't showed up, I could have said the Prokofiev moment was intentional. I know I liked it.
(And people wonder why we shouldn't praise the talented.) Neutral

Watching Tommy play makes me wanna take my bar and melt it into a belt buckle. Has anyone checked if he's truly mortal like the rest of us? Neutral

You play perfecter than the rest of us.

Here's Prokofiev (Lieutenant Kije)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=fyd0jjTVGgE#t=716
Starts at 11:57, and 15 seconds later is a nice V-I cadence in B flat. Of course being Prokovief he had to use F major 7 as the 5 chord.

11:47 and 12:13 are the chords that set the change up for me.
The M7 continues to ring throughout; what better to create tension of ambiguity?

This could be the future of music notation, at what time the event occurred.😊

Tommy is so incredible! As I said in an earlier post,Tommy is one of THE MASTERS of the STEEL GUITAR. I love to hear him play.
He has tons of super talent and has his own incredible style that makes him sound like TOMMY WHITE. Wow!
