George,
I care to differ with you, there aren't too many steelers playing the A tuning anymore, except for some lap players, me included. I tune my dobroes to A, high bass and on my multi-necks, one of the necks is tuned to either A or A6th. The A tuning is the one I started on and I still like to play it.
The A tuning was the original Hawaiian tuning.

You know I was just teasing you. I play my Dobros in G, and I usually play A6th on one steel, and E major on another. Thanks for the response and have a great New Year.

My latest Country Classic was written back in 1952 by Boudleaux Bryant and Chet Atkins: "How's The World Treating You?".
Over the years it has been recorded by numerous country artists.

My latest Country Classic is a song that I have been looking for for a long, long time. And thanks to a sweet gal in Ohio that I sent some tab to, she found it amongst her organ music, thanks Sherry!!
The song was a hit by Ray Price and the tab for it has been requested by several steelers over the years: "I Won't Mention It Again".
