Here's today's tab offering. This George Jones/Don Chapel tune is off Rhonda Vincent's excellent 2 CD set called "Only Me". One disc is bluegrass and the other is traditional country. Between Rhonda's voice, Mike Johnson's always outstanding steel, and the rest of the band, country doesn't get any better than this. Hope the tab is close...this covers the tune through the end of Mike's great pedal steel break. I'll try to finish the rest of it in a few days. Corrections, comments, and slicker ways to play things are always welcome Smile I'm having a little trouble hearing what's going on around the 3rd fret at the 0:53 mark (Page 3, Line 1 of the tab). Enjoy...and Rhonda and Mike, thanks for the music!

Thanks Jeff. You do a great job of tabbing. Very neat and professional. Easy to read. I'll be awaiting the rest of it. That is one of my favorite George Jones song's, along with "Where Grass Won't Grow."

Updated Page 5 and added Page 6 for my take on the rest of Mike Johnson's fills after the break.

Thanks again Jeff. I bought the album with this song on it, and I listen to it often. It is very good.

Would it be ok to send this to someone else that might need it? It has your name on it, so you will get the credit for it because it is ALL YOURS.

Thank you for the time you spend on tabbing and not asking for a dime.

Absolutely, Mark...share it with anyone you'd like. No guarantees it's accurate but I think it's close. Thanks for your comments - people on the Forum have always been very helpful to me over the years and I enjoy giving back. I also find it's a great way to learn a tune if you take the time to figure it out...and then hopefully make it your own at some point. There's so many great players out there you can learn a lot by seeing how they've added steel to a particular tune. And additionally if by posting the tab and audio it introduces someone to an artist they haven't heard before, maybe they'll go buy their CD's.

This is great! Thanks so much, Jeff. The fills w the singer are what I find most interesting. Much appreciated.
