I can get close to this solo by Dan Dugamore on the great Linda Ronstadt version of this song, but not good enough. I find several talk version of it on youtube, but seem to do best with tab. Thanks in advance for any leads.

Not a problem about the sound track, I have that...it was the tab I was after...thanks so much. If you are going to be at the Dallas show, perhaps we can meet and I will buy you a cup of coffee for your kindness in posting that solo for me !

Larry, this is the post that Ricky Davis posted a while back. I'm sure you can buy all of those great tabbed out songs from him. It is worth every penny that you will pay for it. We owe a big thanks to Ricky. Here is some info that might help you find what you are looking for.

From Ricky Davis:

I have EVERYTHING I have ever tabbed for intros and breaks/solos; with a sound file to go with them; in two zip files.
Paypal sshawaiian@austin.rr.com 40 bux and I will send you two emails with a zip file in each. Send 20 bux and I will email you JUST the tab.
It's over a 100 of the greatest intros and solos on the steel guitar...so you will NEVER be lost with any band...ha.
Ricky
(PS; this is Tab I either did or worked on for submitters; it is MY WORK)

Thanks Ricky and all for the information...I have a spiral book that I bought from Ricky a number of years ago that was called "Share a Lick and Turnaround" with Ricky Davis, so the tabs and soundtracks he refers to must be something different, as Blue Bayou wasnt in that book. Thanks for the information,,, I will order those tabs from him...sounds like a great resource of material !
