LeGrand II Vert Knee Lever

Guys,
Is it difficult to add a vertical lever on a late 90's Legrand II?
Is it something a reasonably handy guy could do or is it something I should send the guitar out and have done?
I want to drop both B's to Bb on a left vertical.
Any advice would be appreciated.
