Zion Tele SOLD! PLEASE CLOSE
This guitar is amazing. Custom built for Neil Zaza. I traded him for my Albert Lee. He loved the AL neck, and has had all his guitars built to the AL neck specs. He's now with Carvin. AAAA body and neck, three Bardens, all gold-plated. Stunning playing and the sound rips your brain out! $1,500. Abdo-lutely blows away American Fender Teles! They're not even in the same ballpark!
I just looked on the Zion site. All their "Ninety" models are two pickup guitars withe either Duncans or DiMarzios. So I think they're the DiMarzio pups. Guitar has a coil tap switch and an Earvana nut. Gold-plater Sperzel tuners. Back of neck has no finish. Neil's doing, I presume. Plays wonderfully!

oh man, that is amazing - about 20 years ago i had the chance to buy that exact model from a Zion dealer who had it personally custom ordered (with 2 bardens) and i didn't have the cash for it. never thought i would see another. too bad i don't play electric guitar anymore. that was one great sounding and playing guitar. good price on this.
are they still made in North Carolina or did someone buy them out?

I have been playing a Zion 50 Tele style guitar for years that I bought directly from Dale Brown at his Raleigh shop. He is a real gentleman and takes much pride in his guitars.
Mine is a one piece swamp ash body in tobacco sunburst with an ebony fretboard and Duncan pups and one of the best guitars I've played. It really has that Tele "spank". The quality of Zion guitars is on par with anything out of the Fender custom shop and the critical neck/body joint is as good as it gets IMHO.
If I had the funds I would snap this one up myself and whoever gets it will not be dissapointed especially if they are looking for a top quality, great playing and sounding guitar. Best wishes.
