Wanted: Peavey Vegas 400 amp; shipped to Michigan

Post by Wiz Feinberg »

I am interested in getting a Peavey Vegas 400 amp so I can play resonator or acoustic-electric and steel guitar through one amp, but with different tone settings. Right now I have two amps to carry to some gigs and it's wearing me out.

I am in Flint, Michigan and unless the amp is in Michigan, or upper Ohio or upper Indiana, I'll need to have it shipped to me.

I understand some folks had their Vegas amps modified (better, quieter chips, lighter speaker) and am especially interested in those.

Let me know if you have a Vegas for sale in good working condition and how much it will cost me to have it safely packaged and trucked to 48506.

Wiz, sorry for slow response, I have had some health issues and not been in the shop, however, I have seen a couple of better deals for you anyway here on the forum. Tommy Cass has one for $300.00 which looks like a good deal. If you don't deal for one please holler back at me. After several rounds of antibiotics I am doing better.

Tommy's amp didn't work properly, so I let it go. I'll resume my search next month.

Wiz, I still have one. I dropped out when I saw you could get one for less cost. I assumed that was the best deal for you. Let me know if you are still interested, I would be happy to test mine out and sell it to you assuming everything still works as it should. It has not been used for a while. I have another one at Church that I use there. They are fine amps.
