2015 TSGA Non-Pedal Sessions March 12-15, 2015

Post by Jeff Strouse »

Mark your calendars for the 31st Annual Texas Steel Guitar Jamboree!

www.texassteelguitar.org

For the past 8 years, the Rick Alexander Non-Pedal Sessions have been going strong! :D

Due to a work commitment and project rollout, I'll be unable to attended the convention in 2015. The Non-Pedal room will be hosted by Jack Kindel and Albert Talley.

I believe the Sheraton is almost full now, but the official over flow hotel is the Holiday Inn Express. There are also other hotels within a short walking distance. Check the TSGA website for details.

I'll post more information here as I get it. A lot of great players are being lined up, so it's going to be a great show! 8)

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for all of your efforts to promote the non-pedal steel. Like Mike mentioned, Rick would be proud of you. Hope to see you at a show down the road.

The wedding is that weekend. I might have to slip away if I can. I need to take a look at Google maps and see what I can do.

Got my travel arrangements pinned down. Looking forward to the sessions. Any updates? Not much on the TSGA website. I'll be there Thursday afternoon and can help with anything if needed.

See you there!

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for all of your work shaping the non-pedal scene at Dallas and for helping to keep it happening this year even though you can't be there. You will be greatly missed!

As it turns out some health issues are going to prevent me from attending both the wedding and the steel guitar convention this year. But next year I should be good. And I now have people in Dalles to stay with.

Very sad to hear of Melba Remington passing. Herb is one of our steel guitar heroes.

I'm still waiting on the final list of names to be sent to me, so I can put the schedule together for the show. As soon as I get it, I'll let you all know and post it.

I'll be there. My first time, too.

Thanks for your work on the schedule Jeff. Too bad you can't be there.

I look forward to meeting folks, especially Forum members.
