Got a beautiful 2004 Gretsch 6122 Country Classic single cutaway (1958 reissue) originally purchased from Elderly Instruments here. It's all original. It has not been played much at all, great sound & tone, nice setup. Grover imperial tuners , factory pickups, Bigsby B6, trestle bracing, etc. Traded for a '65 Vibro Champ and a fistful and a half of Benjamins..."

The G6122-1958 Country Classic is a single-cutaway closed hollow body has simulated f holes, trestle bracing, arched top and vintage walnut stain finish. The three-piece maple neck has an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl Neo Classicâ„¢ thumbnail inlays. Other features include dual High Sensitive Filterâ€™Tronâ„¢ pickups, three-position pickup switch, three-position master tone switch, gold plexi pickguard, aged binding (body, fingerboard and headstock), â€œrocking barâ€ bridge, gold-plated GroverÂ® Imperialâ„¢ tuners, gold headstock nameplate and BigsbyÂ® B6CB vibrato tailpiece.

I have never played this particular (Nick's) guitar, but I have one of these Gretsch's.

At first, I was afraid to try one because they aren't made in America. I'm glad I tried one. They are great guitars and I love playing mine. They have great sound. Try one and see if you agree.

The new Terada (Japan)made Gretsch guitars are built so much better that the older U.S. made guitars!!!

I really like this one whenever I play it and change my mind about selling it, so I'm just not playing it anymore. The good news is that if it doesn't sell, I'll still have it.

I was lucky enough to get a tour of the Fender Corona plant a month or two ago and the tour included a visit to the Gretsch Custom Shop upstairs above the Fender Masterbuilt section. I will say I saw some awesome guitars in there...
