Well, I'm snowed in again, so you all will just have to suffer through it.
Last night I stumbled on to one of Mickey Adams youtubes, and as usual, it was considerably over my head. He goes on about playing a supersonic over a neutral or somesuch, but he's using one of them flux capacitor powered steels. Heck, I'm just using a regular steel. Just spoofing you buddy. Love ya man.
Well, he thinks he's hiding all them hot licks... But there it was, jumped right out at me and you know me, grabbed a pencil and paper and I can't keep a secret.
He didn't play it just like this, but this is what my pea brain picked up... Thank you Mickey, great lesson by the way.
With a little imagination, I'll bet you can find a place to use this.

I'd play this in the key of "G". First part over a G, second part over a C, then again starting at the 9th fret over a D...

I want to thank Ron Funk for suggesting I indicate what key this should be played in. I really appreciate the great feedback. Thanks Ron...

John those are my snow notes. Play them real fast, doesn't grate quite as bad. Haha!
"Some times it's the discordant, that makes the sweet, sound so much better". That's a good one, I think I'll use that again. |

Dick,
What program do you use to write your tab?
It's very neat and aligned. _________________ Jb in Ohio

John, I use a Word Processing program(Libre Office), have made up a 4 staff of 10 string sheet, that is used for rough ideas. When I get it where I want it, or close, I transfer it directly into the forum... Like so:
Tab: |
1______________________________________________________
2______________________________________________________
3______________________________________________________
4______________________________________________________
5______________________________________________________
And so on...
|
B0B has helped me by suggesting I use
Tab: |
At the beginning and at the end |
Seems to work...
The tab sheets can be found here:
