Hello Everyone I'm A Newcomer
Was not sure where to introduce myself, so I apologize if this is not the spot. Joined about a week and a half ago, and I have already benefitted from the wealth of information on this site. I currently have three lap steel builds in the works in addition to other musical instrument projects. Yes I am a major procrastinator and I have trouble staying focussed (my wife says it's ADD).

I also welcome you James. I have two mottos:
"The road to Hell is paved with good intentions" and my latest:
"Of all things I've lost in my life, I miss my mind the most"!!
Yes James, we have a lot of fun on the Forum and, I don't know how many times I've asked for help or suggestions and there is always somebody out there who can answer your question.
I'm 77 and started with Hawaiian guitar lessons on a Stella guitar in 1948, and I'm still playing!!!

Good for you George. I hope I will still be playing at your age. I started playing in 1979 on a no-name acoustic guitar. The action on that thing was so high that it hurt my fingers every time I played. I almost gave up playing because of it. I was 23 and didn't know anything about intonation or set up. I just figured I had a cheap guitar. Even had string buzz after the twelvth fret. A real sweety....[/quote]
