If you have TablEdit software.
Here is a quick way to get fake book type notation and tab into your TablEdit.
Let's say you want a fake sheet for "Blue Bayou"
Open up the TablEdit and click on "File"

It should go to this look on you screen with the melody listed in the tab and notation. Click on the play arrow to play and check the accuracy of the notation and tab
Then it's up to you to build on it and rearrange the tab so it is playable in positions of your liking .
Note: It has to be a midi file don't try to import an MP3.

Even better if you have Band In A Box
In BIAB go to "File" to "Open Midi file"
after the song loads click on the "G" on the notation bar at the bottom I have circled in red and the notation will appear.
