Yup, that's the one, Roger. Thanks for the info. I do recall the name "Nashwood Music," but was never there as far as I can remember. As you point out, that was close to 50 years ago.Roger Shackelton wrote:Hi Jack,
I was was member of that club in the 1970s. I believe it was started by Al Udeen at the home of Jan Onash. Her music store was called NASHWOOD MUSIC. Other members were Dave Knight, Bill Rudolph?, Scoggy & Steve Schmidt.
I know there were more members, but it was close to 50 years ago.

Any idea what ever happened to Dave Knight? I've read where he may be in California, or perhaps in the Missouri Ozarks. Suppose after all these years it's a good possibility that he's no longer with us. Dave was an awe-inspiring steel player, especially on the C6 neck. Nice guy, too.
Of course everyone in the Twin Cites knows Al. Great guy. I remember him giving a clinic on how to play steel while he sat in on my push/pull at the old Champlain Legion one night some decades ago. Think he was repping for Sho-Bud or Gretsch at the time.
(Sorry to stray so far from your original topic, Dennis & Albert.)
