Once again i will be back in austin and should have some time in the eves to hear some steel...thanksgiving went to the broken spoke and enjoyed herb s immensely ! This time want to try another place...is Rose playing at the Italian reataurante and where else to go ?

It was great seeing you at the Spoke. Looks like you had a good time.  I'm out of town that weekend, not sure what Rose is doing... I think she's out of town also.
But on Friday at the Spoke is the rockabilly group 2 Tons of Steel with the excellent Denny Mathes on Fender Stringmaster. Then Saturday is Dale Watson with Don Pawlak on Sho-Bud Pro II.
Not sure who's at the Little Longhorn or the White Horse. There's a few other places that might have a band with a steel guitar, though they wouldn't be hard core country that I know of.
