I am building a twelve string psg.I brought the changer fingers and gauged rollers from Ron and told what I was up to he has been realy helpful and said to call him if I hit problems.Im trying to work measurements out from posted pictures as I only have a push pull.Ive worked out most of the top side and just wandering if the string pin should be at 3 oclock in its at rest position or nearer 2 oclock the latter seems to work better ,but I don't want to put undue stress on the changer by starting in the wrong position. Once I get the position right I can make the spring plate to suit.Any input will be much appreciated DaveWisson
PS Carl if you read this please could you send me a photo of the emmons 14 hole bellcrank from the article you posted recently many thanks Dave Wisson

The string pin is at 3 o'clock as viewed from the top rear of the changer axle.

Let me know if you need any more pics.

I will settle for any kind of non stainable steel rod in 7/64". I would rather not use SS as it is sooo hard to work with. But if I have to I will.

Thanks,

carl
