I could listen to dawn sing for hours on her CD's and never missed a chance to stop in at the Station inn when I was in Nashville. I always loved the fact that Kenny and Dawn worked together in that great group. Nashville lost a treasure. My condolences to kenny and the sears Family.

Never had the opportunity to meet her or hear her in person, but have always admired her wonderful talent. She had a beautiful voice and sang "Sweet Memories" better than anyone I've ever heard. She will be greatly missed. Prayers and condolences to the family.

This is so heartbreaking. I never met Dawn Sears, but I recognize that her talent was exquisite, one of the best country singers ever, and from all I've read she had a personality to match. Someday soon the "Big C" will be conquered, but in the meantime we must suffer losses like this. It's not fair.

My sincere sympathies to her family and friends who knew her well.

Tommy took me to Nashville to see the Time Jumpers a few years back. So glad to have had the privilege of hearing Dawn's majestic voice live. My deepest condolences to her loving family and friends.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dawn on several occassions and I believe she was the most soulful country singer I ever heard. The ladies in the band I play in have made her a standard to strive for as have the musicians. She was the best.

To Kenny, Tess and extended family my heartfelt condolences for your loss, Heaven's choir gains a mighty voice and we lost one that will never be replaced. The first time I heard Dawn and John do Sweet Memories a close friend and fellow steeler looked at each other and said "well that says everything there is to say about that song." Dawn, however, sang every song I ever heard her sing with the same heart, soul, and a perfection that very few artist attain. She will be missed.

Once Dawn sang a song, no matter what the song was, the standard for that song was set.

I have been crushed since I read this. Dawn is favorite female singer in any genre. Her phrasing and style were truly unique.
