I enjoyed the steel playing that Bruce did @ the PSGA this weekend . He played both days and had a borrowed guitar . It didn't seem to bother him as much as having to buy new clothes , since his were lost in transit.
I did my best to add to his pleasant visit by loaning him a seat & pedal... but, I really added another nice gesture...as we were saying a long goodbye , my laptop slipped from my shoulder hitting my elbow, making my coffee jump straight up 1 1/2 ft and landing on his new shirt.... he then said " guess that's what I get for not buying one of your guitars".
I guess I better stop drinking coffee ,,,or as they say in NY & Ct cawfee .

Great story Jerry, I must have missed being the target by a few minutes.
Bruce and his wife Sandra are two of the nicest people you will ever meet, I. Could listen to them talk all night, love that accent.
They took a train all the way from California to Texas, Chicago then to New York for the show. I didn't realize he had to buy new clothes for the show.
He played extremely well, and played some great Shadows songs and a bunch of other great tunes.
If he ever does buy a guitar from you you best stain it in a Mocha tone, or should I say 'Caw-fee'

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.
Today is tomorrow's Good ol' days

Bruce's response made me smile.....he really has a great sense of humor.
We were also fortunate to meet Bruce and his lovely wife Sandra in Norwalk this past weekend. They made a great show even better with their attendance.
Can't wait to geat home and listen to his cd.
He is a fine player indeed.
Bruce/Sandra , enjoy the rest of your vacation and safe trip back to down under.
