I am hoping someone can explain in detail what obtaining splits on a Mullen Rp entails. I know that another rod is used but What exactly is being done and how?
THanks

Mullen G2 SD10 , Lil Izzy Buffer, Goodrich 120 volume pedal, Boss DD-7, Peterson Strobo flip, Peavey Nashville 112
Searching the forum will get you pics and diagrams.
Here's what you do in text format, assuming string 6, E9th.
The extra rod goes on the knee lever's bellcranks, to the RAISE finger. Tuning works like this:
1:tune the G#
2: tune the A note of the B pedal
3:leave the pedal down, add the lever. Tune the G note WITH THE LOWERING ROD.
4: when you let the pedal go, the laws of physics say that the F# will be flat. You bring it back up with the raise rod of the lever.

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
