just some thoughts....

I just installed a new Eminence EPS-12 in my NV112.

To start with the speaker wires supplied by Peavey were too short. I found out I had very limited skills in soldering and that sucked! Ha Ha..

Was not an easy install for me.

The mounting plate of the EPS-12 was much thicker making installing it using the factory mounts impossible as received.
I had to trim away most of the thick gasket or foam before installing. Needless to say, NEVER AGAIN ! If it has a working speaker in it well then, it will work for me.

If you are a talented tech in electronics then maybe this would have been a breeze for you.

If you are a novice..well folks don't try this at home..

thx

I installed one in mine, didn't like the sound and reinstalled the original speaker. (sold the EPS-12C).

The leads are too short, but I didn't have a problem with that as I'm an ex amp tech.

I didn't have any problems mounting the speaker in mine. The original mounting screws were long enough. There is a gasket on the back of the mounting lip that is not used when rear mounting a speaker. That could be a problem and have to be removed around the mounting holes.
