Robert Randolph at the BBC

Post by Chris Tweed »

For those of you who can access the BBC's iPlayer, here's the latest episode of Later With Jools Holland featuring Robert Randolph and the Family Band. There are some very nice closeups of Robert's playing.

On the first song (about 5 minutes in) he's playing a S12 Mullen and on the second (about 5 minutes before the end) a S6 Jackson at standing height. Pretty cool playing on both songs.

Really exciting stuff.

The first song, Amped Up, is now on YouTube. Don't know if that helps.

And there are not very many in the UK who've even hear of him..
Or as it's advertised "Robert Randolph and the Family Band,"

There are several downloadable programs that you can install that will give you a UK IP address so that you can view UK only internet content.

I use Expat Shield at

Do you know of one compatible with Windows 8? That one wasn't.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Lane

Try this from a YouTube video. It seems to work most of the time per the comments.

I will ask a friend who is from the UK and uses it and see if he has any suggestions.
