Life #9": C6th?

Post by Chris Lasher »

Does anybody know if the hot steelin' on Martina McBride's "Life #9" was done on the C6th neck? I think Mr. Paul Franklin was the man behind the licks; I'm not entirely sure at the moment.

I'm posting some clips to go along with this.

Clip 1

Clip 2

Clip 3

Thanks,

Darn! I tried using the search feature to find the tab but it didn't turn that thread up; I should have just manually searched for it.

Oh well, thank you, Olivier. And thank you, too, Bobby. I believe you. Image It just sounded very different from the standard major-scale-oriented E9th sounds so I was wondering if it was from a different tuning. Guess I just gotta keep learning to work that magic of those pedals and levers.

I'm pretty sure it was done on E9.

Haha, I think I just need to hang out with a crowd, in the first place. Image
