Nice to see another international event. Too bad the dates are the same as the Irish festival, but best wishes for the success of both events.

Yes, in the future, they need to coordinate the dates better so that folks can attend (and even play at) both!

You're perfectly right!
When we started talking about organizing a steel convention in Italy we didn't imagine it could end up having a real international appeal. So, while choosing the date, we didn't pay that much attention to european events calendar... Shame on us! :)

In a few our participant and guest list has grown incredibly, more than we expected. I think we're now justified to call it "international". But we never mean to compete with the great Irish event!

So... you're right!
Next time we'll pay more attention to the dates, allowing people (and ourselves too!) to attend to both.

International Italian Steel Guitar Convention

Post by Ellio Martina »

It has been great, not only for the steel and the music, but especially because of all the nice and warm hearted people.
As if we have been friends for many years at first sight!
Up to the next edition!!
