Peavey special 130

Post by Bill W Ferguson »

Mr Fox, I have a Peavey special 130 that just quit working, it only sorta works if I plug my processor thru the back loop. If I plug into the front, nothing.
If I go thru the back loop the reverb doesn't work, it sounds real bad. I also put your chip kit in it last year. Any idea's? Thanks, Bill

I have 37 battery-less memory chips left. I bought the last my supplier had. They will be an obsolete item with them. I do not know yet where and if I will find more.

Nothing comes to mind. Just clean the input jack contacts and any effect loop or power amp in jacks for sure

Thanks Ken, your input is always valuable as well as your products. I saw the 12" neo Jensen speaker on your site. If I decide to replace the scorpion would that be a good replacement. I play Sacred Steel so i am really look for good bottom end as well as warmth.
Thanks

Ken, Do you have a mod kit for an older Session 400 or is it the same as the Session 400 Limited? Fred

It is a much different amp design than the Session 400 Limited amp. I do not have a user install kit for the older Session 400.

Thanks, Fred!
