I think she is special within the context of auditioning for The Voice, but that's all. :|

I like the quality of her voice and her attitude. Her intonation is a little iffy in places, but she nails it perfectly in other places. She also has an occasional fast vibrato in her voice, maybe it's nerves. Definitely good, but she needs a little work.

This quirky singer was a finalist last year. I like her because she's from my hometown! ...well, the next town over. Plenty of attitude here ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TropD15A3AY

o.k.. I know it's been asked before. When did becoming a musician mean wining a contest? Out of all the greatest musicians of our lifetime..how many got there from wining a contest?

Doug, I thought that there was a nice touch of Dolly via Allsion Krauss and, also, Maria Muldaur, who I think are all phenomenal voices, in the girl's vibrato. She sounded controlled to me.

When I really love the tone and attitude of a singer, I'm much more tolerant with regard to the pitch. I could listen to entire record of her stuff, I think. She's probably a killer bluegrass singer.

I enjoyed her very much !! She has that Dolly Parton /Rose Maddox cut thru in her voice !! She could be heard over any Bluegrass banjo etc !! She sounded sincere !! Loved her performance !! - olde geeze - AKA Eddie "C"
