Recently, I have been demonstrating these unique instruments from Jackson Steel. On many of those demos, I took an aggressive approach with distortion and such. Here is a similar approach overall but with clean tones. Check it out.

| I have a leaded crystal bar from Diamond Bottlenecks that's like the exact negative or opposite of that one - 4 inches, double ball ends but dark blue with white swirls rather than white with blue swirls. I'd bet that, or a Loni Spector "Slippery Slide." |

Niels,
That is a glass bar that came from the UK. Or at least that is what David Jackson told me. I really don't know the source for certain. I do know that it is very light and made of glass. It's really a must on the Steel Bass because of string noise.
