NW steelers and fans take note, I've been working on a new outside-the-box steel project, and we're going to take it into to light on Sunday September 28, at the Lehrer Pub, on SW Canyon Lane in sunny Portland, Oregon.
It's a full-on rockabilly quartet with my friends Marty McCray, Jeff Munkers and Andy Campbell, and for the time being (our one upcoming gig anyway) we are calling the venture Red Hot and Blue, a moniker with a long and distinguished history.
We are fortunate to be able to debut our new venture on a bill with Jon Koonce Trio and the Twangshifters, and if that weren't enough to get you out of the house, if you haven't been out to Brad Lehrer's place it's high time you discovered one of the best music clubs Portland has seen for a while....

I went to hear these guys last night and they were really good.
Also, that is a nice club they have there. Great setup for live music.
I hope to play there sometime.
Thanks, Dave.
