This project started while listening on Internet radio to a Hawaiian music station. Composed by Keali'i Richel, and famously covered by George Kahumoku, Daniel Ho (a lovely instrumental), Lito Arkangel, and a memorable version by Nina Kealiiwahamana (with Jerry Byrd on steel guitar).
This Hawaiian love song was featured in a film which premiered in 2003, made by Lisette Marie Flanary, rather unimaginatively named by someone as"American Aloha". This instrumental features the lead shared between flute and steel guitar, with a "middle eight" on nylon string guitar. Steel guitar: West Coast C6, with accompanying bass, rhythm guitars and keyboard tracks (strings, flute, vibes, choir). All tracks by me. Key of G modulating to A.

Grateful for the appreciation, Harry. The tuning is
(lo2hi): G - A- C - E - G - A- C- E
and the steel guitar is the West Coast Hawaiian model WC-8H (Bob Littleton of West Coast Steel is the designer).
