Eric, I wish I could answer that question, but I just don't know. I got this guitar from the Jack Kandora estate. Jack died about 4 years ago, and I have played the guitar over the last 4 years. Jack was a friend of mine, and a great player on both C6th and E9th. Jack told me he bought the guitar from Bobby Seymour. That is really all I know about the guitar, except that it sounds amazing. It also stays in tune.

Ok here is the E9th pedal knee setup of the 1971 push pull.
Pedal 1---Raises strings 5 and 10 a whole tone from B to C#.
Pedal 2---Rises strings 3 and 6 a half tone from G# to A.
Pedal 3---Raises strins 4 and 5 a whole tone E to F# on string 4 and B to C# on string 5.
Pedal 4---Works on both C6th and E9th neck. On the E9th neck this pedal lowers string 3 from G# to G and raises string 6 from G# to A.
Pedal 5--Works on both C6th and E9th neck. On the E9th neck this pedal raises string 4 from E to F#.
Does anyone want to know the C6th set up?

I guarantee the serial number matches guitars made in 1971. I will give you the exact serial number if you are serious about buying, and make arrangements to buy the guitar. I have had the guitar sold twice for $3,900.00. The hang up has been shipping. Also, I want the buyer to see the guitar in person. I do not want any complaints about anything after the sale. I have heard so many bad stories about guitars broken in shipping. Then people having to wait years for a small settlement. What made up my mind not to ship it by Fed Ex or UPS, was when the Mangager at Fed Ex's main office told me this: He said: "We do not ship stringed instruments-period". Guitar is still up for sale or trade, but you need to come to where I live. That way you know what you will be getting. Plus the guitar will be in your care all the way home.

71 emmons p/p mica wooden necks
I want to post this with out any accusations...but this guitar looks just like the one I bought from mike Cass in 1997...mike built a guitar just like this one mica body with wooden necks, it was stolen from my house in north east Alabama and was bought in a pawnshop in Huntsville Alabama, in 2002 and was brought to mike Cass to be set up with the day set up. mike informed the man who bought it that it had been stolen. From me mike verified the guitar tried to contact me...but the man who bought it from the pawnshop traded it to bobby Seymour, thus it has been all this time and this is the only p/p bolt on that I have seen since mine was stolen, mine also was a 1971 p/p black mica and wooden necks..i have pictures and a hour video of the guitar being played by mike the night I bought it...I have engraved some numbers underneath the end plate right under one of the changers I believe. If you could please check and see if there has been any scratched out places under there...I would just like to know if that would possibly be the one mike built for me ? thanks,
