Sent session 500 chassis to peavey for repair and wondered without me bothering them, how long it might take. I believe they will do a good job and I want them to take the time they need.

Call them. They won't be bothered, because you probably will be talking to a customer service agent and not the repair guys.

Peavey Repair Dept quoted me a 3 week turnaround. They received my LTD on 9/11. They just called today 9/24 to ship today - so it will be a 2 week turnaround. The repair cost was more than reasonable.

I realize there are a lot of factors here entering into their repair turn-around times however; from my own personal experience their times have always been shorter than I had estimated. I would have to say honestly that my repair times have been anywhere from a few days to slightly over a week. (This includes in many cases the estimated time for shipping both ways as well) I live in Kentucky which is probably a relatively short shipping time of 2 to 3 days either by UPS or Fedex ground. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would happily rate their overall service for me at 9 to 9 1/2. (Nobody's perfect but they are hard to beat!) Hope this helps!! Roger Smile

Got my sessions chassis back from peavey, decided to give facelift before I put her back together. Going with light brown tolex type covering. Also had to replace speaker baffle, over the years someone had allowed it to get moisture and woodchip baffle board was coming apart. previous owner had speaker redone in 2004 and it reads 1504-4 and said releaded whatever that means

Our repair turnaround time varies depending on how many repair items that we receive on a daily basis.

I don't remember the turn around on my Nash1000....seemed like a week or two I got a call, telling me they have identified the problem, with an estimate for the work.
I received it back in approx week and a half.
Not only did they fix the problem, but the circuit board was cleaned, and they replaced a couple of knobs on the front.
All I know is their service is very prompt and reasonably priced.
Fantastic service.....that's why I love Peavey
