S 10 Nice shiny new black one, 5+ 5 .. with a real cool Wallace TrueTone... I'll let you know how she behaves. .. Carter Guitars has been great .. REALLY great. They don't call themselves "World Class Steels" for no reason. I put them through X amount of grief and they were always first class. I'm a nice guy,but a nasty customer I guess. I think all businesses should punch me in the face first ,before any deal is struck, because I deserve to be slapped to keep me in line when things don't go the way I want them to. So I'll play it and let you know. This time, I think any problems will be reported to the folks who made it first... I've been thinking about that more and more and that's probably the way I should have handled the "red guitar" fiasco, but sometimes I have a tendency toward acting like a big spoiled brat first and thinking clearly afterward........ NAH!!!! bob |

Just in time for the big shindig this Sunday.
You'll like that little ledge on the S10. It's the perfect size to hold those little "pigs in blankets" cocktail wieners..... |

Just slap yourself in the face first, before you walk into any store. Then, any further slapping by sales people can be assessed and compared for quality, performance and response time.
Good luck! I hope everything is fine. |

Hi Bob,
Good luck with the new Carter. The black ones sound the best! I havent played that many Carters myself but,the ones I have were very nice indeed! And with the way the good folks at Carter have handeled this whole mess, you certinly cant help but think "WOW" these folks really care and give Great customer service! Dont worry, everybody gets a little out of line when you spend a lot of hard earned money and things dont go your way.Thats just being human. And wasnt' it nice that so many here helped by pointing it out to you!
I know we will all be waiting with baited
breath for a full report. There may even be a quiz later!!After all the whole world is watching !!!!

What we need is a live webcam of "The Unveiling" this coming Thursday. Maybe Janet Jackson will show up for "The Unveiling".. |

Jim.. I'll like it I'm sure..after the pickup on the red Carter started working fine for no apparent reason,I was in LOVE with the sound and playability of that guitar! Best steel I've ever had. Still hated the red color, but the guitar was packed up and sent out today and I was sad to see it go. I would never have trusted the pick up however,As it might have crapped out at any time... I still owe you a bridge right? bob |
