Eric Weissberg is the only steel player listed on the "Rocky Mountain High" album. I always thought it was Eric too. But it wouldn't be the first time someone was left out of the credits. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . No steel listed on "Rocky Mountain High" - probably an oversight by Praguefrank. Does sound like Weissberg on "Rocky Mountain High" and I doubt he would have missed John Denver session. Weissberg was the first call steel man in NYC in the '70's. I didn't know they cut Denver in NYC.

Hey Steve – I know that is funny how Praguefrank listed that. Usually a discography reads “same as above personal†or “similar as above personal.†I didn't know Denver was first cut in NYC. I would have thought L.A., too. Reading up on it: Denver's producer was Milt Okun who produced Peter Paul & Mary – The Chad Mitchell Trio – The Brothers Four. Denver came up from those folk groups hence Milt Okun / NYC. On “Rocky Mountain High†Weissberg’s part starts @ 2:54. A characteristic of his style is how he pedals off the 3rd string.
