Zumsteel 1999 D10 9 and 10 knees Beautiful Guitar
ZUMSTEEL D10 guitar with 10 Knees and 9 Floors with split tuning. This guitar was built in 1999 and is the DAY setup with E's raise and lower on the right leg. This guitar has Bruce's pickups and sounds totally awesome.
Also the volume pedal is included.
The guitar is as you see it with normal wear as I take good care of my stuff.
Price is $4900 OBO.

ZUM 9 and 10 Split Tuning
WOW! So many questions in such little time.
I will try to answer all the questions so far.
Here we go.
It is the DAY setup.
Its a sticker that when I tried to pull it off, the stripe wanted to follow so I will just leave it on.
This guitar has split tuning and screws are in only where they are being used.
The bracket in front of the E9th pickup is for a special Dobro pickup Bruce and I developed with a modified Fishman Preamp. I will include the pickup only.
Super Crawford Cluster is 5 knees on the left leg.
That is 4 Knee levers and 1 vertical.
The first 4 floor pedals are E9th as pedal 4 is shared. Pedal 4 lowers the 5th and the 6th string lower is on the LKR2.
Somewhere I still have a schematic of the modifications to be made to the Fishman Pre for the Dobro effect. I use it a lot but I only have 2 pickups and one pre.
This is quite a guitar for sure.

It has 10 and I want 11 on both my guitars but hard to talk Bruce into that one.
It's a long day to disassemble and add 10 or 11 knees and get them positioned just right.
Thanks,
Bobby DeMoss

I mistook the metal strap for a knee lever..."only" 10 levers.

The thing to me is there are no primary on the left leg DAY setup, only what I call effects or record copies. Remember that the e raise and lower are on the right leg. This is what I consider as primary.
Now with that said, all the levers on the left leg are free to be used with either of the E lower or raises.
Also remember that the levers under the Zum are adjustable.
And yes it is true that the hips are in play to navigate the two staggered levers and this seems to be quite easy and is the reason I have this setup on both of my guitars now.
Chord possibilities are extremely numerous on this setup.
The left-left knees lower the 2nd string farthest 1/2 tone and closest a whole tone. The closest lever also lowers the 9th and 10th strings.
Hope this clears up some things about the setup.
If interested, shoot me a email and I will forward my phone number.
