Halloween comes early. Here's an instrumental version of "Spooky" (Classics 1V, Atlanta Rhythm Section). I'm using the E9th tuning of my pedal steel and a resonator guitar tuned to C6th for this arrangement. Hope you like it.

Chuck,

I enjoyed that! Loved the contrast between the dobro and the pedal steel timbres and picking styles. Also loved the Em7 / A9 chord interplay.

Love the dobro & steel - very nice arrangement - but that's one the strangest tones I've ever hear from a bass. How did you get that sub-woof sound from an upright? Creative EQ? Special mic technique?

Very nice, Chuck. As others have said, a nice mix of acoustic and electric tones. This song takes me right back to 1968!

Thanks, Guys. Glad you like the arrangement. Bob, I'm using BIAB 2011 for the bass. I found a couple of sounds that I liked, EQued them, and then blended them together to create the bass.
