I've got one of those little lunchbox Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 heads. Would love to be able to attach it the the 1x12 cab so I can tilt it up without setting the head on the floor, or elsewhere. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. I think that sounds like a good place for Velcro instead of brackets _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Say, Lane that's not bad. Not velcro but that stronger plastic stuff. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |

How about a small angled metal bracket where one end slides under the cabinet handle and the other attaches to the head. In this way, the cabinet can be slanted while the amp head remains level for easy access to the controls. I have one that I use to mount my effects and it works perfectly. |

Didn't Fender use that system with their piggyback amps? That hardware is still availlable. |

I think Fender had metal plates that slid out from under the head cabinet and attached to the speaker cabinet with two metal knobs. In place of the slide, you could just have the brackets swivel on a screw on the bottom of the head. _________________ 1974 Marlen S-12 1968 Tele 1969 Martin D-35H |

Well, Michael, added it all up and that stuff is over $70. Did a gig last night and thought I just might be able to balance it, but to not take chances we wrapped a bungee cord around it and attached it to the stand. Looked rather geeky but, problem solved. For free. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |
