Re: 6139 shobud
Thanks so much Dana; just thought you might like to know: our guitars were both made in Oct. of 1973, in Nashville TN. of course!Dana Blodgett wrote:Beautiful guitar Chuck! I just wanted to say that it looks just like mine and it's serial # is 4312.Good luck

Re: 6139 shobud
Dana, it would be cool for you to post some photos of your guitar. From the serial number info that I have it looks like with the serial number you gave of 4312, your guitar is a 1973 year model not a 1974 as you are showing on your equipment info list?Dana Blodgett wrote:Beautiful guitar Chuck! It looks like it was made during the same 1-2 week period of Oct. 1973 that mine was made. Also, it's interesting that you state the model is a 6140 instead of a 6139 like mine?
Maybe an expert here can chime in with some more info for both of us!
Best Regards: Chuck

Buell; I am curious as to why you would post this rude comment directed toward another member on the forum?Buell Wisner wrote:Don't bother, Nick. Sending Chuck messages will do you no good.
I already answered your previous personal message, perhaps it went to your spam folder on your email? If you can't find it, let me know and I will send you another private reply.

Hello Buell; I sent a personal message to you twice? Not sure why you did not get it?Buell Wisner wrote:Hi Chuck,
Check your PM.
Anyway the answers to your questions are:
1) The Sho-Bud volume pedal that will come with the steel is in great working order: i.e. no noise from the pot during operation etc..
2) the shipping weight of the guitar and case is: 52lbs. The guitar itself weighs just 38lbs.
Hope this helps, Regards: Chuck
