Hi folks,
Has anyone fitted the Emminence eps 15 neodymium to a Peavey Vegas 400 amp .Thinking of doing this and wondered if the mounting holes will line up on the baffleboard
And if there is enough room etc. Finally is it a good match for the amp sound wise.
Thanks for reading .
Regards Dave. |

I can't say about how well it will work in a Vegas 400, but the EPS-15C was designed to be a direct replacement for the Peavey 1501-4 BW speaker. Thus it should mechanically fit. |

I have seen one installed in a Nashville 400 and it fit like a glove.
It even came with a little badge to replace the BlackWidow Equipped one in the front of the grill.
Would assume that Vegas 400 would be the same.

Hi Dave,
I've recently bought a 15" eminence from Kevin Hatton and installed it in my Peavey Vegas.
This amp also has the Lemay mod installed. I always thought the Vegas sounded a bit mushy compared to my Session 500.
It's a noticeably brighter sound now with more punch. On stage it's beautifully clear ... I love it.
The Eminence fit the existing holes perfectly and used the same screws. I had to remove/reinstall the grill, reverb tank and the rear covers to swap the speakers.
I haven't noticed any 'break in' change in the sound after 3 gigs.
I intended to use it in the Vegas for awhile, then move it to my Webb, but I think it's gonna stay right where it is (sorry Kevin).
... and I love the lighter weight of the Vegas now.
