I have a pair of EV S-122 PA speakers that I bought used. Recently they quit working. I pulled the crossover and the meter showed that the woofers are dead. I removed one to see what was in there and it turned out at some point the original EV woofers were replaced with some rather cheap no name speakers.

I'm going to replace them with something closer to EV specs. I can find no information on the specified speakers, EVG-12's. The current EVM-12L Classics are around $270 a piece, so I don't think I'll be going that route. My search has led me to Emminence Delta-Pro 12-450A which seems to be a new speaker. They go for $119.99 from Parts Express and seem to be modeled after an EV speaker.

Has anyone used the Dalta-Pro's? Did they deliver the goods for you? Anything else I should be looking at?

I installed a Delta Pro 12A (different speaker) to replace a missing EV speaker in a Fender Twin Reverb. Wonderful speaker, heavy, and highly recommended. It too is sold by Parts Express for $116.90.
