I still use the tuning chart that came with my stage one I used to have. I think it's Jeff Newman tuning. But it didn't have that change so what should I tune the lowers to??

8 cents below wherever you put the 1st string.
OR, tune it by ear to be the third to the 1st string, and write down what that value is.

I tune both the Bb and C (split tuning) -4 cents from the E string reference.

I would slide two frets back from an open C-chord at fret-8, and tune it by ear to make a sweet 7th chord on strings 4,5,6.
