In case you missed it. What a Joke from the Jokers.

Post by LJ Eiffert »

The Country Music Association said goodbye to Taylor Swift. If you believe that just take a good look at how they put their Awards show together with the Music Business so call Industry in the likes like the Academy Of Country Music. Talk about Kiss Ass! In case you missed it. This is equal opportunity at it's best. Uncle Leo J Eiffert Jr. :whoa: Did I make the Jokers cry? I don't think so & they could care less about me or any of you at that. ;-)

Leo, you say "In case you missed it" While I am generally open to different styles and types of music, I make it a POINT to "miss it" when those foolish award shows come on.

I really think they helped lead what is being performed, and what most of us love, down divergent paths from each other. Back when I DID watch them, it seemed that almost all the artists who normally were 'country" went on TV and tried to be anything BUT. In time they gave up any pretense of a connection to the roots.

And if someone is suggesting this should be in some other section of the forum I disagree, because these award shows Leo speaks of truly ARE a joke!

Don, you made my point clear about those Artist. They can't be who they are support to be. It's not in their recording contract or record CD deal with the lawyers who handle their paper work. I have respect for Musicians/Artist who stand up for what is right, but, when they sell their soul just for a career and a style of music that truly isn't them, than! Good luck to all in this world of music today because it ain't what is should be and it will never be what it once was. The Table Jokers and player jokers who have this game all worked out that hold the control in big business money deal you & I ain't getting in. My days are over in that circle, but, my " Who Used Who ",My Memories! is still alive and well.;-) Uncle Leo J Eiffert Jr.
